About NCOFCU The
National Council of Firefighters Credit Unions, Inc. (NCOFCU) is a
non-profit 501 (c) 3 professional association of credit unions serving
firefighter's, first responders and their families. Credit unions serving firefighters and first responders, have been
meeting annually since 2001. We presently have over 400 members
representing credit unions serving firefighters and first responders from across the country. At
present, their
are over 100 firefighter credit unions, representing over $11 billion
in assets and 700,000 members throughout the U.S. and Canada. |

NCOFCU is governed by a Board of Directors elected by the member credit unions. The Board is comprised of firefighter credit union volunteers and executives from across the US. The Board meets periodically by phone throughout the year, and twice in person, at the annual planning session and at the annual educational conference. NCOFCU By-Laws |
