Conference Scholarship Program

NCOFCU’s mission is to promote education, unity, cooperation and support among firefighter credit unions.

By offering these educational conference scholarships, NCOFCU will be moving towards their vision to educate, create and maintain a climate of safety, soundness, innovation and unity among firefighter credit unions.

Please review the following Percy Riley Jr. conference scholarships and apply for the one that would encourage your credit union to be represented at our annual educational conference

    • Conference Registration - Based on current registration (no cash value)
    • Transportation - towards one round trip airfare
    • 3 Room nights includes tax  based on current hotel rates (no cash value)
    • Full conference registration for one (1) attendee which covers, as indicated above

All scholarships will be reviewed by the Scholarship Committee and awarded reference to need and availability of funds.

Credit Unions or Corporate Sponsors Wishing to Contribute to the Percy Riley Jr. Conference Scholarship Fund

The National Coalition of Firefighters Credit Unions Inc. (NCOFCU), a non-profit Florida corporation 501 (C) 3, has established  a Scholarship fund so that all firefighter credit unions will have the opportunity to attend NCOFCU conferences regardless of their financial condition.  It is often those that can not budget to attend that need the education and collaboration gained at the conference for their continued success. 

If  you or your credit union wishes to go beyond their membership obligation and offer a donation you can contribute additional funds through       "PayPal"      or our     On-Line Contribution Form . All decisions as to scholarships will be based on need and decided by a committee of NCOFCU’s board of directors.  

For federal income taxation purposes

National Coalition of Firefighters Credit Unions, Inc. (NCOFCU), is a non-profit, 501(c) (3) charitable organization. Donors may deduct contributions as provided in IRC 170(c)(3) of the U.S. Tax Code.

By offering these conference scholarships,  NCOFCU will be moving towards their vision of to educate, create and maintain a climate of safety, soundness, innovation and unity among firefighter credit unions in order to promote and enhance the initiatives of the firefighter credit union movement.
