Credit union expert Tim Harrington will keynote the National Coalition of Firefighters Credit Unions Inc. (NCOFCU) 2015 Annual Conference. He will also address Financial Literacy at the volunteers only session Thursday afternoon, which will help attendees build the skills and knowledge they need to strengthen their credit unions’ bottom lines.

Steven Rick is now the chief economist for CUNA Mutual. Before being named to the CUNA Mutual post in June, Rick was previously senior economist for CUNA & Affiliates' Economics & Statistics Department. With CUNA since 1992, he conducts economic research,

Michael Lozoff will be addressing, how best to respond, and what your rights are, when you get a lousy examination report, or your regulator demands the board agree to a DOR or LUA. Michael is a partner in the Miami office of Shutts & Bowen LLP where he is a member of the Financial Services Industry Practice Group and Chair of the section's Credit Union Law Group.

Myra Toeppe  NCUA Director, Region 3
As Regional Director, Ms. Toeppe is responsible for oversight of the chartering program for federal credit unions and the examination and supervision programs for all federally insured credit unions in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, Tennessee and the Virgin Islands.

Jeff A. Carpenter is the Vice President, Member Relations and Strategy Development for the Credit Union National Association (CUNA).  Jeff returned to CUNA in September 2011 to fill the newly created role focused on the development and implementation of the association’s membership growth and retention strategy. 

Prescott Ford is the Managing Director of the Office of Regulatory Affairs at First Empire Securities, Inc., and formerly served as a National Bank Examiner with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.

Murray is the founder and President of Biz Lending & Insurance Center, Inc (BLIC) and brings 35 years of experience to the credit union industry. His background includes 15 years at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange in the commodity brokerage business as EVP and another 20 years working with the Credit Union industry.
